Abhishek Gupta is the Group Chief Financial Officer at OYO Hotels & Homes. He has been part of OYOs executive leadership team since 2015 driving the overall strategy, financial oversight and long term planning and execution of OYO Group across multiple geographies and business segments.
Abhishek has more than 17 years’ of professional experience in key, senior finance roles at leading organisations such as Philips India, and in other business verticals including Energy, Capital and Healthcare, both in India and abroad. Abhishek has also worked across Board Management, capital raising, investor relations, JV relationship management and M&A execution, cost control, margin improvement and capital allocation.
Abhishek is a Chartered Accountant with an MBA from the Indian School of Business (class of 2010), he was also part of the Executive Management Program at Harvard University.
Mr. Wong Wai Ming, is currently the Executive Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of Lenovo Group. He was previously an investment banker for more than 15 years and also held senior management positions in listed companies in Hong Kong. He was an independent non-executive director of the Company from March 30, 1999 until his appointment to the position of Chief Financial Officer in 2007. Mr. Wong is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a bachelor’s degree in management sciences from the Victoria University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.
Lam Sai Wai Alain (林世偉) is a Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of the Group, and the Deputy Chairman of Airstar Digital Technology. Prior to joining the Group in October 2020, Lam Sai Wai Alain served as a Managing Director and Head of Technology, Media and Telecom in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets department of Credit Suisse between January 2016 and October 2020. Between July 1997 and December 2015, Lam Sai Wai Alain worked at Morgan Stanley in various locations including London, New York, Menlo Park and Hong Kong.
Lam Sai Wai Alain received a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Oxford.
Mr. Edwin KAM is Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Fixed Income of Value Partners. He is responsible for credit and fixed income investments, with a focus on special situations and private financing. He has over 14 years of financial industry experience and has direct management responsibility of the firm’s fixed-income assets.
Mr. KAM was voted as one of the “The Most Astute Investors in Asian G3 Bonds in Hong Kong for 2020” by The Asset’s Benchmark Research Awards, in which he was ranked No. 10. He has been ranked among The Top Astute Investors in the same category for five consecutive years since 2016.
Prior to joining Value Partners, he was at Investec Capital Asia Limited, where he specialized in advising listed companies on restructuring and liquidation matters, debt and equity securities issuance, as well as merger and acquisition transactions. Before that, he was an Analyst at Deutsche Bank AG in London.
Mr. KAM graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Master’s degree in Finance. He is a CFA charterholder.
Mr. Stefen Shin is currently the Principal Investment Officer at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, where he is a senior member of its investment department. Previous to this role, he has held positions at China Financial Futures Exchange in Shanghai, and leading global investment banks, including UBS, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, and JPM. He also has taught at several leading academic institutions, most recently at Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing. He began his career on Wall Street with JPMorgan, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University, School of Engineering and Applied Science, in New York City.
Peter Oey is the Chief Financial Officer of Grab. He helms Grab’s finance operations, treasury, tax, procurement, and real estate and facilities department. Peter also works closely with Grab’s President Ming Maa. Peter brings over 20 years of corporate financial and strategic planning experience to Grab, joining from legal technology solutions provider LegalZoom where he served as CFO for more than five years. Prior to LegalZoom, he was CFO of MyLife.com, a US consumer internet business, and spent over 12 years at Activision Blizzard in various roles including VP, Corporate Controller. Peter has a Bachelor of Economics, Accounting and Commercial Law from the University of Sydney.
Premod is an Executive Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Bayfront Infrastructure Management. He is responsible for the strategic leadership and vision of the company. He was previously Head of Corporate Strategy at Clifford Capital, where he oversaw the conceptualisation and execution of the inaugural project and infrastructure loans take-out facility and issuance of securitised notes by Bayfront Infrastructure Capital in July 2018. Prior to that, he spent several years with Bank of America, Standard Chartered Bank and the Temasek Group focusing on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and new businesses.
In addition to his executive role with Bayfront, Premod holds non-executive directorships in a number of companies including Singapore-listed Mapletree Commercial Trust, Fullerton India Credit Company, MGSA Private Trust and Gemstone Asset Holdings.

Ada Dai is Deputy General Manager and Head of Rating Advisory Team, Treasury & Markets Group, China CITIC Bank International, based in Hong Kong.
Ms. Dai has extensive working experience in capital market, mainly in debt capital market and equity research for over 15 years. Prior to joining China CITIC Bank International, Ada worked as Director and Head of rating advisory in FICC, Guotai Junan Securities (HK).
Since 2016, Ms. Dai has assisted around 50 Chinese companies obtaining their first-time international credit rating and helped many issuers achieved rating upgrade, mainly are LGFVs, Non-bank financials, SOEs and property developers, etc.
Prior to that, she worked in Barclays Capital (HK) and Credit Suisse (HK) as an equity analyst for 10 years, covering Asia basic materials and utilities sectors. She won “2015 Asia Money-Asian Basic Materials-Research-Best Team-No.3” and “2008-2010 Institutional Investors-Asian Basic Materials-Research-Best Team- No.1 and No.2” respectively.
Ms. Dai holds a Bachelor of Accounting (English) from Shanghai International Studies University.
Mr. Albert Yau is the CFO, Executive Director and Vice President of Zhongliang Holdings Group, a Top 20 China real estate developer.
Before taking his current position in 2019, he was the CFO of CIFI Holdings Group, another Top 20 China developer from 2011 to 2019.
Mr. Yau has 28 years of experience in real estates, capital markets and corporate management.
He holds a bachelor’s degree of science from University of California at Berkeley. He is also a holder of Chartered Financial Analyst.
Zhi Wei is a senior credit research analyst at Loomis Sayles Investments Asia Pte. Ltd., covering the Chinese corporate sector. She joined Loomis Sayles in 2018 and has more than 20 years of relevant experience in the investment industry and real estate sector. Previously, Zhi Wei was the executive director of credit research at Standard Chartered Bank, where she also covered Asian high yield credits (mostly China, Indonesia and the Philippines), and later covered Chinese credits, across a wide industry and rating spectrum. Prior to this, she was the associate director of credit research at Barclays Capital, where she began as a desk analyst for the principal investment unit and then became a publishing analyst in credit research. During the years in Standard Chartered and Barclays, Zhi Wei has established good working relationship with the issuers, especially the China HY property developers. Zhi Wei has previously worked as director of research and consultancy for Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants, leading a team that covered the property sector in Singapore and other major Southeast Asian cities. She earned a BSc from Shanghai Jiaotong University and a CDipAF from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Laura Acres is Managing Director for the Corporate Finance Group for Asia. Based in Singapore, she has overall responsibility for Moody’s corporate ratings and research for the region, managing teams in Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and Tokyo. Laura also spearheads our global Emerging Markets initiative, leading many of our aggregated research based publications in this space and helping to coordinate Moody’s approach to this large and growing area of focus. Laura joined the company in 2006 taking a number of Lead Analyst roles for a variety of corporates around the region; she also created Moody’s aggregated high-yield research and outreach initiatives for the Asia Pacific region. She was appointed Managing Director in 2015 and led the Singapore based South & South East Asia corporate rating teams and was then appointed to her current role in 2020. Before joining Moody’s, Laura worked for Schroders PLC in London and Singapore, and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in Singapore, where she specialized in corporate restructuring and recovery throughout Southeast Asia. Laura holds a BSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Terry has over 25 years of experience in credit ratings and bank credit risk management. As a Managing Director, based in Singapore, he leads Moody’s Public, Project & Infrastructure Finance in Asia Pacific. He assumed his position in February 2015.
In this role, Terry oversees ratings teams in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Australia, and Japan which are responsible for Moody’s extensive coverage across the public and infrastructure sectors, including transport infrastructure, regulated utilities,power and social infrastructure.
Prior to this role, Terry spent seven years as an Associate Managing Director and head of corporate, project and infrastructure finance ratings for Australasia, based in Sydney. During that period, Moody’s rating coverage for this region grew substantially to more than 100 rated issuers. In the corporate sector, the analytical team monitored ratings in a wide range of non-financial sectors, such as consumer and retail, industrial, mining, oil and gas, and property, while the infrastructure team covered power, transport, utilities and social infrastructure.
Terry was also previously responsible for Moody’s coverage of the oil and gas as well as mining sectors in Asia Pacific.
Before joining Moody’s in 2000, Terry worked for around 12 years in various risk management and credit origination roles at Westpac Institutional Bank in Sydney. His last position at Westpac was Senior Manager, Credit and Divisional Credit Officer, responsible for approving credit exposures to institutional clients.
Atsi Sheth is Managing Director and Global Head, Credit Strategy and Research.
Moody’s Credit Strategy & Research group includes global teams focused on Macroeconomic Research, Default & Ratings Analytics and Global Emerging Markets as well as regional credit strategy teams each focused on Asia-Pacific, the Americas, and EMEA.
Together these teams establish and articulate Moody’s house views on the trends that drive risk across countries, sectors and asset classes. They undertake in depth data driven analysis and leverage the expertise of ratings and research analysts across Moody’s to generate global, regional and sector insights on macro-economic, political, policy, technology and environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks.
In her capacity leading the group, Atsi also serves as a spokesperson on Moody’s analytic views, engaging with investors, the media and a wide range of public and private sector stakeholders.
Atsi is a long-time champion of Moody’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) as well as our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. She has also served as Chief Economist at Reliance Capital and taught courses on International Political Economy and Emerging Markets at Columbia University and Northwestern University. Atsi has a PhD from Northwestern University and a B.A. from Bombay University.
Sandra Veseli is a Managing Director and Head of the EU for Moody’s Investors Service, currently based in Frankfurt. She is also the Country Manager for Germany. Sandra is responsible for coordinating the strategic, operational and business engagement with internal and external stakeholders across the region.
Before joining the regional management team, Sandra was a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Group in London, leading the UK corporate and the global leveraged finance franchise.
Sandra joined Moody’s in 2013, bringing 20 years of banking experience. Prior to Moody’s, Sandra worked at Credit Suisse, where she was the Head of Rating Advisory for EMEA since 2010, after holding senior positions in the rating advisory teams at Morgan Stanley and Citi.
Sandra began her career at Dresdner Bank in Germany.
Sandra holds a Diploma from the Frankfurt Business School of Finance & Management.
Gary Lau is the Managing Director for the Corporate Finance Group in Hong Kong. Gary manages analytical teams in Hong Kong, covering corporate ratings in North Asia (ex-Japan). He has extensive experience with Moody’s in analytical and management positions with responsibilities across different industries and geographies. He has been with Moody’s since 1998.
Before joining Moody’s, Gary worked for Barclays Bank Plc and Bank of America in the Financial Institutions and Corporate Banking Divisions.
He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Social Science, both from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Li Ma is a Managing Director for Moody’s Investors Service and is responsible for supporting a portfolio of corporate ratings in mainland China. He is based in shanghai. Li’s first stint at Moody’s was between June 2002 and August 2007. He leftMoody’s as a Senior Analyst and Vice President in the Structured Finance Group inHong Kong to work for the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). At RBS, Li held multiple credit review and approval roles before his appointment as the Chief Risk Officer inChina.Li rejoined Moody’s in April 2013, served as the President of China ChengxinInternational Credit Rating Co. Ltd. — a Moody’s affiliate — until January 2017, where he was responsible for all aspects of operations. Li is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a BA from Fudan University and an MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Ian Lewis is an Associate Managing Director for Moody’s Corporate Finance and Project & Infrastructure Finance Groups, based in Singapore.In this role, Ian manages a team of ratings analysts for ASEAN, with a focus on key sectors including autos, chemicals, metals & mining, steel, telecommunications,regulated utilities, transport and social infrastructure.
Prior to being based in Singapore, Ian worked for Moody’s in Japan, Australia and the US.Before joining Moody’s in 2007, he worked for various banks, including Sumitomo Bank, Credit Suisse, St George, and Westpac Banking Corporation.
Ian has over 20 years of experience in credit analysis and ratings across diverse industry sectors and geographies.
Ian holds a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, a Bachelor in Economics from the University of New England, and is also a CPA.
Annalisa Di Chiara is a Senior Vice President in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Hong Kong, Annalisa covers a portfolio of telecommunications, media and beverage companies throughout South and South East Asia. Annalisa is also a lead coordinator for Moody’s high-yield research and outreach initiatives for the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Annalisa worked for UBS in credit related roles across debt capital markets and leveraged finance. She spent a significant portion of her career as a senior ratings advisor covering corporates across a variety of industries throughout the US, Asia and Europe. Annalisa has also worked for Credit Suisse and the Bank of New York as a Ratings Advisor and a Corporate Finance Banker. She has worked in Hong Kong for over 13 years.
Annalisa holds a double major from Brown University in Business Economics and English & American Literature.
Stephanie Cheong is an Assistant Vice President - Analyst with Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Singapore, she covers a portfolio of investment grade and high yield companies across the industrial and telecommunications sectors in South and Southeast Asia. Stephanie has previously covered a portfolio of property developers in Indonesia.
Before joining Moody’s in 2015, Stephanie was an Assistant Audit Manager with Ernst & Young LLP, covering the banking industry and capital markets.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the Singapore Management University.
Jin Wu is a Vice President-Senior Analyst in the basic industries team in New York. He covers a portfolio of high-yield and investment grade chemical companies, conducts fundamental credit analysis and publishes issuer and sector research.
Prior to Jin’s current role, he supported ratings and research for a portfolio of APAC companies with focus on chemicals and metals & mining industries in Moody’s Shanghai office. Before that, Jin conducted corporate credit research and financial analysis at various financial institutions in the US, including Genworth Financial, Capital One, and Washington Mutual (now JP Morgan). Jin has covered sectors including basic industries, construction, utilities, telecommunications, media and technology, and financial.
Jin holds an MBA from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business, and a Bachelor’s degree from China’s Foreign Affairs University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Ada Li is a Vice President - Senior Credit Officer with the Project & Infrastructure Finance Group, covering a portfolio of Chinese infrastructure companies across state-owned or privately-owned utilities, ports, railways, toll roads, and local government finance vehicles.
Before joining Moody’s, Ada worked as a Vice President at Deutsche Bank, where she oversaw Greater China corporates and financial institutions. Ada has also worked at Barclays Capital, where she covered Chinese financial institutions and commodity companies.
Ada holds a BBA in Accounting & Finance from The University of Hong Kong. She is also a CFA charterholder and a certified FRM holder.
David Yin is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer with the Financial Institutions Group at Moody’s Investors Service Hong Kong Limited. David is covering a portfolio of banks and non-bank financial institutions in China.
Before joining Moody’s, David worked as equity research analyst for Standard Chartered Bank, covering Chinese banks and securities companies. Earlier, he had covered Chinese financial institutions in Bank of China International Securities (China). He had also worked in the ECM department of Goldman Sachs Gao Hua Securities.
David holds a MSc in management and a BA in Economics from Peking University.
Yuting Liu is a Vice President and Senior Analyst in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Beijing, Yuting supports ratings and research for a portfolio of Chinese central and local state-owned enterprises across various industries.
Yuting has more than 10 years of experience in financial analysis and credit research at credit rating agencies and other financial institutions. She first joined Moody’s in 2012 and worked for CFG teams in Australia and Beijing for three and half years.
Prior to rejoining Moody’s, Yuting was in Fitch Ratings for 2 years in the corporate research team specializing in infrastructure and construction industries. Yuting received her Master of Applied Finance degree from Macquarie University and her bachelor’s degree from the University of New South Wales.
She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Wan Hee Yoo is a Vice President - Senior Credit Officer in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group, based in Hong Kong. He covers a portfolio of Korean corporates across a diverse range of industries.
Before joining Moody’s, Wan Hee worked for three and half years with Citigroup’s Capital Markets Origination / Ratings Advisory team, covering Korean corporates. Prior to this, Wan Hee worked as a credit analyst at Fitch Ratings and Nice Ratings, both based in Seoul, acting as a lead analyst for Korean corporates.
Wan Hee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Korea University.
Ralph Ng is a Vice President and Senior Analyst within Moody’s Project and infrastructure Finance Group, based in Hong Kong SAR.
Ralph covers the infrastructure sectors in China and Hong Kong, with a portfolio spanning state-owned and privately-owned utilities and transportation companies. Ralph also authored a series of publications focused on the port sectors in China and Hong Kong.
Ralph first joined Moody’s Commercial Group in 2010 and transferred to the project & Infrastructure Finance Group in 2014. Prior to joining Moody’s, Ralph worked in Global Banking Department at HSBC in Hong Kong.
Ralph holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from The University of hong Kong. He is a CFA charter holder and a certified FRM.
Franco Leung is an Associate Managing Director and Team Leader in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Hong Kong, he covers mainly Chinese corporate entities in the property sector.
He was previously a lead analyst for a portfolio of Chinese corporates with a focus on property companies, while other coverage includes companies in the chemicals, metals & mining, consumer products and construction materials sectors, local government financing vehicles (LGFVs), and state-owned conglomerates.
Prior to joining Moody’s in 2012, Franco worked in various positions at Standard Chartered Bank for about 10 years, including credit risk management, treasury and global markets in Hong Kong and London.
Franco holds an MBA from the London Business School and a BSc (Quantitative Finance) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and is a CFA and FRM Charterholder.
Kaven Tsang is a Senior Vice President in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group in Asia Pacific. Based in Hong Kong, Kaven covers a portfolio of property companies.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Kaven worked in commercial banks, including CITIC Ka Wah Bank, WestLB AG and the Norinchukin Bank, covering corporates in Hong Kong and China.
Kaven holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Matthew is a Senior Vice President in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group and has been based in Sydney since 2010. Matthew has covered many Australian corporate and infrastructure sectors during his time at Moody’s Sydney. His current responsibilities primarily include real estate investment trusts and large cyclical industrial companies, including those in the metals and mining, oil and gas and steel sectors. Matthew has also covered the consumer products and retail sectors with Moody’s in the US.
Matthew is also a member of Moody’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) working group for Asia-Pacific, which coordinates Moody’s regional activities in this area of growing market focus.
Prior to joining Moody’s Sydney office, Matthew worked in the rating-advisory group at Deutsche Bank in New York. He holds an Honours degree in Business from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Kaustubh Chaubal is a Senior Vice President with Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Singapore, he covers a portfolio of Indian and India-based issuers in the metals and mining (ferrous and non-ferrous), automobile, chemicals and pharmaceuticals industries.
Prior to joining Moody’s in 2015, Kaustubh spent eight years as a Ratings Advisor with Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore, the last two of which was as Head of ASEAN Ratings Advisory, while also covering issuers in the Middle East and Africa.
Kaustubh has also worked as a Senior Analyst at Standard & Poor’s India-based subsidiary, CRISIL, covering a broad array of industries including pharmaceuticals, building materials, chemicals, and investment holding companies. And, he has previously held analytical roles at ING Vysya Bank and Unit Trust of India Investment Advisory Services, as well as auditing roles at RM Ajgaonkar & Company and RD Samant & Company.
Kaustubh holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University. He is also a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Ivan Chung is the Representative Director for Moody’s Investors Service (MIS) in Hong Kong. In this role, Ivan ensures a sound and controlled operating environment and acts as senior representative and main contact point for key local and regulatory issues, both internally and externally.
In addition to his Hong Kong role, Ivan is an Associate Managing Director within Moody’s Corporate Finance Group, where he co-heads the team responsible for Chinese local government financing vehicles ratings.
Ivan first joined Moody’s in 1997 and rejoined in 2006. He has held senior analytical positions both in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group and Project and Infrastructure Finance Group, and most recently acted as the head of Greater China Credit Research and Analysis team, leading the research of evolving credit trends and bond markets in China.
Ivan holds a BBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MA from City University of Hong Kong. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Sarah Xu is an Assistant Vice President – Analyst for Moody’s Investors Service. She is a lead analyst in the Chinese local government financing vehicles (LGFVs) team, covering LGFVs in eastern China and southwestern China. Prior to this role, Sarah was an analyst in Moody’s Greater China Credit Research and Analysis team, where she focused on credit research for the LGFV sector, as well as the evolving credit trends and bond markets in China.
Sarah has over 10 years of experience in corporate credit analysis. Before joining Moody’s in 2018, she held senior credit analyst and relationship management positions at BNP Paribas and Standard Chartered Bank in China, covering a portfolio of state-owned and privately-owned companies in various sectors. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and English from East China Normal University.
Cindy Yang is a Vice President – Senior Analyst with Moody’s Corporate Finance Group, based in Beijing. She is responsible for Chinese local government financing vehicles ratings.
Before joining Moody’s, Cindy worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Hong Kong as a senior auditor. Cindy holds a Master of Corporate and Financial Law from the University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also a HKICPA and ACCA.
Ray Tay is a Senior Vice President / Manager in Moody’s Project and Infrastructure Finance Group. Based in Singapore, Ray covers project finance, transport, utilities and other infrastructure credits in Southeast Asia and India. Ray also authors research and conducts outreach focused on topics such as project bonds and the role of funding diversity and credit enhancement in bridging the infrastructure gap, particularly in emerging markets. Ray is also a member of Moody’s APAC ESG Working Group.
Before joining Moody’s in 2012, Ray was a Director with the Global Infrastructure & Projects Group in KPMG. Ray has also worked as a Senior Business Analyst with the Singapore Power Group, focusing on regulatory economics in each of its principal local operating subsidiaries.
Ray holds a Bachelor’s in Economics with honors from the National University of Singapore.
Boris Kan is a Vice President–Senior Credit Officer with the Project & Infrastructure Finance Group. Based in Hong Kong, Boris covers a portfolio of Chinese utilities and infrastructure companies across a range of sectors.
Before joining Moody’s, Boris was the Head of Regional Utilities & Power Equipment (Asia-ex-Japan) with J.P. Morgan’s Equity Research team, where he spent more than 12 years covering a wide range of power and gas utilities companies in Greater China.
Boris has also worked as a Senior Associate for more than five years — first at PricewaterhouseCoppers and then at Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance — providing assurance and M&A advisory services to corporate clients in Greater China.
Boris holds an MBA majoring in Finance from Simon Fraser University and is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Abhishek Tyagi is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer with Moody’s Project and Infrastructure Finance Group, based in Singapore. He covers companies in the port, airport and utility sectors in India and Southeast Asia.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Abhishek worked for eight years as an equity analyst with CLSA in Mumbai, covering Indian utilities and infrastructure companies. Previous positions also included an investment analyst at B&K Securities in Mumbai and a supply chain analyst with Tata Steel in Jamshedpur.
Abhishek holds an MBA from the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar and a Bachelor of Technology (Metallurgy and Material Science) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee.
Clement Wong is an Associate Managing Director and team leader with Moody’s Investors Service’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Hong Kong, he oversees a team of rating analysts covering Chinese industrial corporate entities in sectors including internet, technology, auto, chemicals, food and beverage and more. He and his team are also actively involved in Moody’s Greater China investor outreach activities and have been authoring sector- , issuer- and credit trend-specific research reports.
Clement is an auditor by training with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte. He has over 20 years of credit experience in the banking industry.
Prior to joining Moody’s in 2014, he was Country Credit Officer for Wholesale Banking in Hong Kong and Japan at Standard Chartered. Clement has also worked for several international banks, including Citibank, where he helped set up the commercial banking risk management team in China while stationed in Shanghai for almost five years. During his time at Citibank Shanghai, he also collaborated with other teams to build the bank’s framework for lending and approving credits; and before relocation to Shanghai, as Senior Credit Officer, worked on assessing large corporates’ credit exposure; and had been in charge of problem loan recovery for small-medium-sized companies.
Clement holds a Master’s degree in International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Social Science degree from The University of Hong Kong. He is also a CFA charterholder and a CPA.
Lina Choi is a Senior Vice President with the Corporate Finance Group for Moody’s Investors Service HK Ltd. She covers a portfolio of Chinese corporates in various sectors, including Internet, technology, food and beverage.
Before joining Moody’s, Lina worked as a senior investment analyst for AllianceBernstein Holdings LP, a US asset management company. She covered Chinese equities in the telecoms, media and technology sectors. Lina has also worked as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley’s Equity Research Division, overseeing the Asian telecommunications industry.
Lina has an BA in Economics from the University of Chicago. She is a CFA charter holder.
Nidhi Dhruv is a Senior Credit Officer, with Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Singapore, Nidhi covers a portfolio of issuers across the telecommunications, telecom towers, mining, construction and airline industries in South and Southeast Asia.
Before joining Moody’s in 2007, Nidhi was an analyst with Citigroup Investment Banking in India and Singapore for three years.
Nidhi is a CFA charterholder and a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She also has an MBA in Finance from Mumbai University.
Mic Kang is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in Moody’s Project & Infrastructure Finance Group, based in Hong Kong. He mainly covers utilities and infrastructure companies, and public corporations in Korea.
Before joining Moody’s, Mic worked as a director with Fitch Ratings, Hong Kong, covering Asia Pacific energy & utility sectors, as well as Korean and Vietnamese financial institutions. Prior to that, Mic was an associate director in the Credit Risk Control of UBS AG, Hong Kong, with exposure to corporates and financial institutions in Korea and the Philippines. Prior to that, Mic worked as a credit manager in the Credit Risk Management and the Corporate Banking units of National Australia Bank in Melbourne, Australia and Korea, covering Asia-Pacific corporates.
Mic earned his Master of Business Administration from Indiana University at Bloomington, Indiana, USA and his bachelor’s degree from Hanyang University in Korea.
Jake Avayou is a Vice President – Senior Covenant Officer in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group in Singapore. Jake joined Moody’s in 2014. Jake specializes in covenant analysis of high yield bonds.
Before joining Moody’s Jake was a lawyer at the law firms of Shearman & Sterling in New York and Linklaters in Hong Kong where he primarily worked on capital markets transactions. Jake also worked in Transaction Management in DCM at Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong.
Jake holds a B.C.L./LLB (Hons) from McGill University – Faculty of Law.
