Mauro Crisafulli is Managing Director for Moody’s and Country Manager for Italy. He oversees Moody’s Investors Service operations in Italy with responsibility for directing and coordinating the company’s activities.
Mauro is also responsible for sub-sovereign credits in the EMEA region. In this capacity he coordinates a group of 20 analysts and has overall responsibilities for ratings and research on regional and local governments and related entities, including transit, water, infrastructure companies, and housing associations. In his role he chairs rating committees, helps maintain the quality of ratings, and assures analytical leadership on publications.
Prior to assuming these positions, Mauro served as Group Credit Officer for the sub-sovereign group with the responsibility of ensuring the consistency of global ratings and implementing analytical initiatives worldwide. He was also a member of Moody's Public Sector Credit Committee, in charge of reviewing public sector rating methodologies. He joined Moody’s in 2004.
Mauro has a wide knowledge in credit risk analysis, with more than 25 years of experience in the public sector rating business, including 8 years in Fitch Ratings where he served as director of the public sector team. Prior to that he worked as a Financial Analyst for the City of Milan and for various industrial and service companies. Mauro holds an Economics and Business Degree from the University of Bocconi in Milan.
Mauro Pastore, born in Rome in 1965, is the General Manager of Iccrea Banca, Parent Company of the Iccrea Cooperative Banking Group.
Before joining the Iccrea Cooperative Banking Group, from 1990 to 1992 he worked at Arthur Andersen and subsequently collaborated with Studio Palandri in Rome. He has been statutory auditor of several companies: Mix Oil Spa, Beni stable Gestioni Spa, Bowe Sistec Spa, Iside Spa (IT company of Credito Cooperativo now BCC Sistemi Informatici of which he is currently chairman), BCC Vita Spa and Banca Sviluppo Spa Chairman of the Boards of Statutory Auditors in various realities, including Tor Immobiliare Due Srl and BCC WEB Spa and Director of Assimoco Assicurazioni Spa, Assimoco Vita Spa, FinAssimoco Spa, Chiara Assicurazioni Spa and A.Ge.Cooper Roma Srl, as well as Vice President of BCC Vita Spa and of BCC Assicurazioni Spa and Chairman of the Board of Assistem Spa.
From 2001 to 2004 he held the position of General Manager of the Federation of Cooperative Credit Banks of Lazio, Umbria, Sardinia. In October 2004 he joined BCC in Rome as Deputy General Manager, where he became General Manager in December 2010, holding this role until June 2019 when he joined the Iccrea Group.
In June 2019 he was appointed General Manager of Iccrea Banca.
Among other positions, from 1991 to 2002 he taught Business Economics, as an expert on the subject, at the Faculty of Economics and Commerce of the Third University of Rome and was the author of several publications on banking, credit and economic issues.
From 2002 to 2015 he also held the position of General Manager of Federlus Factoring Spa From November 2015 to March 2018 Pastore was a member of the consultancy of the President of the Finance Commission of the Chamber of Deputies for the Banking and Insurance sector. He was President of the Finance Section of Unindustria, the Association of Industrialists of Lazio.
He is currently a member of the Management Committee of the Temporary Fund of the Cooperative Credit Banks and a member of the Board of Directors of ABI. Since December 2018 he has been a member of the "Steering Committee" of the Faculty of Economics of the Guglielmo Marconi University.
Graduated with honors in Economics and Commerce at Sapienza, he is a Chartered Accountant and registered in the Register of Auditors.
Born in Milan in 1966, he graduated in political economy from the Catholic University of Milan with Prof. Luigi Pasinetti and Prof. Andrea Boitani, with a thesis on the new Keynesian economics.
Between 1991 and 1992 he furthered his studies with a grant from the Einaudi Foundation. In 1992 he was awarded the "B. Stringher" scholarship of Bank of Italy. In 1993 he received his M.Sc in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE).
From 1994 to 1999 he worked as an applied macroeconomist for Banca Commerciale Italiana, initially focusing on currency market analysis. Between 1997 and 1998 he was involved in Comit's Euro Project, dealing with project management, documentation and corporate client information.
Since 2000, he has headed the research team on macroeconomics, fixed income, currency markets and commodities. In this capacity, he is coordinator of the Macro flash, Weekly Economic Monitor, and Macroeconomic Outlook reports, published in Italian and English, and of the macroeconomic forecasting and simulation activity.
Since 2019, he has been personally in charge of covering the European Central Bank's monetary policy.
Since 2011, he has become increasingly interested in Italian economic issues and the eurozone debt crisis. He regularly meets with foreign institutional investors, foreign public officials, and rating agencies for advice on the Italian economy and the Italian sovereign debt markets.
Since 2015, he has also supervised the activities of the Retail Research office within the Macroeconomic Analysis service.
In his spare time, he engages in entomology and birdwatching, also working as a volunteer on nature conservation projects in Lombardy.

Gianfranco Amoroso graduated in 1992 from Bocconi University, is a Chartered Accountant (Register of Milan) and Auditor.
He started working at Mediobanca S.p.A. in 1994 and held various roles, up to taking on the position of Managing Director, with responsibility for the Energy and Utilities sector, maintaining the supervision and responsibility of the execution of the main merger and acquisition operations in the Energy sector in Italy.
In July 2013 he began his professional career at Snam S.p.A. and held the position of Finance Director with full responsibility covering areas of finance banks, debt capital market, group treasury, M&A and Insurance. He supported the Group’s international strategy with the start-up of the M&A Finance unit, with direct responsibility for the acquisition of the stake in TAG sold by CDP, and with a direct involvement in all the group’s major M&A projects (most recently the acquisition of the stake in Austria’s GAS CONNECT GmbH).
From November 2016 he joined Italgas after following the latter’s split from Snam and the simultaneous listing on the Stock Exchange and from May 2018 he took over the position of Head of Finance, Planning and Control and M&A, following the execution of the refinancing on the debt capital market of the entire debt to the former parent company Snam, as well as taking care of more than ten M&A operations carried out during the first 24 months.
He has been CFO at Italgas since June 2021.

Alessandro Roccati joined Moody’s in May 2012 as a Senior Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group, based in London. His portfolio includes large European banks. Prior to joining Moody’s, Alessandro spent fifteen years in equity research as a senior analyst covering European banks at global investment banks: Macquarie, Man Group, Credit Lyonnais and Nikko Securities. He started his career as a credit analyst covering European banks at UniCredito. Alessandro graduated in economics from Bocconi University in Milan.
