Renzo Barbieri O'Hara General Manager Moody’s Local Peru

Renzo Barbieri O'Hara is General Manager of Moody's Local for Peru and Bolivia. In his role Renzo has been with Moody's since 2015 when Equilibrium -a Peruvian rating agency- was acquired by Moody's to further develop the Moody's Local platform.

Renzo is responsible for managing key clients and developing new relationships including day-to-day operations for Peru and Bolivia.

Previously, Renzo worked in lmpregilo, a Fiat Group company, dedicated to large-scale civil engineering works, based in Milan, Italy, being responsible for credit insurance, liability management and consolidation of financial operations. He also served one year in the Italian Army. Renzo began his career in Peru in 1989 as Data Analyst at the National Confederation of Private Entrepreneurship under the CAF-CONFIEP agreement. Renzo is a Business Administrator from the University of Lima and is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Business Administration Faculty of the same university. He is fluent in Spanish, Italian and English.

Jaime Reusche Vice President - Senior Credit Officer, Sovereign Risk Group Moody’s Investors Service

Jaime Reusche is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in Moody’s sovereign risk group. He has 11 years of industry experience. Mr. Reusche is responsible for analysis and ratings of Latin American sovereigns. He authors research on developments impacting sovereign credit quality, participates in sovereign rating committees, and is responsible for communicating sovereign risk group views in investor briefings and discussions with policymakers. Previously, he was lead analyst for a portfolio of Central and Eastern European sovereigns in the same group, before refocusing on Latin America.

He had worked as a Director in Fitch Ratings’ sovereigns group covering Latin American credits including Argentina, Chile and Central American countries until 2011. Prior to this, Mr. Reusche held the positions of analyst, associate analyst and senior associate throughout his nearly seven years at the sovereigns group in Moody’s, where he covered Latin American and Eastern European sovereigns, and oversaw data collection for Moody’s semi-annual Country Statistical Handbook.

Sandra Beltrán Vice President - Senior Analyst Moody’s Ratings

Sandra Beltrán has been with Moody’s Corporate Finance Group since 2007. She is currently a Vice President Senior Analyst covering a diverse portfolio of companies in Consumer Products, Retail, Building Materials, Airlines, Tourism and Manufacturing industries, based in Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico and Peru. Prior to joining Moody’s she was a credit risk analyst at Ixe Casa de Bolsa and was also a research assistant at Centro de Estudios de Competitividad (CEC) within Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) where she also got her bachelor’s degree in Economics and is enrolled in the Applied Economics graduate program.

Rosa Morales Assistant Vice President - Analyst, Corporate Finance Group Moody's Investors Service

Rosa Morales Cid is an Assistant Vice President – Analyst in the Corporate Finance Group (CFG) based in Mexico City. She is responsible for a portfolio of Latin American investment grade and high yield companies in the Telecom and Metals & Mining sectors.

Rosa joined Moody’s in 2009 as an Associate Analyst providing support to a portfolio of diversified industries including Telecom, Construction and Oil and Gas. She became manager of the Associate Analysts team in CFG Latin America, and she also managed the Sub Sovereign and Infrastructure groups on an interim basis. Before joining Moody’s, Rosa worked at GE Capital as a Jr Underwriter financing aircraft and portfolio acquisitions in Mexico and the Caribbean.

Rosa has a degree in Management with a major in Finance and a post-graduate diploma in Banking, Credit and Risk Management from ITAM (Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico). She holds a Master’s degree in International Finance from Universidad Panamericana and she also completed the Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management program in The Wharton School in Pennsylvania. Rosa speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Felipe is a Vice President-Senior Credit Officer in the Financial Institutions Group for Moody's. Based in Mexico City, he leads the credit analysis of various financial institutions, including banks, securities firms and finance companies in Mexico, Chile and Peru. Prior to this position, he had similar responsibilities for financial institutions throughout Latin America. Felipe joined Moody's in 2000. He holds an MBA from New York University and received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Boston. He speaks fluent Spanish, English and Portuguese

Pedro Francke Ballvé Ministro de Economía y Finanzas

El Sr. Pedro Francke Ballvé fue nombrado ministro de Economía y Finanzas el 30 de julio de 2021. Es economista de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) y magíster en Economía por la misma universidad. Tiene una reconocida trayectoria como economista, investigador y experto en temas de pobreza, políticas sociales y salud. En la gestión pública se ha desempeñado como gerente general de EsSalud, director ejecutivo de Foncodes y profesional en el Banco Central de Reserva del Perú, entre otros cargos. Además, fue consultor para el BID, la Organización Panamericana de la Salud, la OIT y el Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo. En el campo académico, además de ser docente principal del departamento de Economía en la PUCP, ha dictado cursos de maestría en la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia y en la Universidad San Martín de Porres, así como cursos de pregrado en la Universidad del Pacífico. Asimismo, es autor de más de 50 artículos, libros y publicaciones científicas, siendo su último libro como coeditor “Exclusión e inclusión social en el Perú: logros y desafíos para el desarrollo”.

Mauro has been with Moody’s Sovereign Risk Group since 1996. He is currently Associate Managing Director for the Americas responsible for sovereign ratings in Latin America, the Caribbean, US and Canada. Mauro is also responsible for ratings of multilateral banks in the region. Prior to joining Moody’s, he was Managing Director for Latin America at Wharton Econometrics (WEFA) in Philadelphia. Mauro completed graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin in the areas of International Finance and Econometrics.
