Nick Hill is a Managing Director co-responsible for Moody’s global bank ratings. Based in Paris, he joined Moody’s in March 2010. Nick led the revision of Moody’s bank rating methodology, which was republished in 2015.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Nick worked as a bank analyst in a variety of roles. These include banking supervision at the Bank of England and Financial Services Authority, where he began his career; sell-side equity research on French banks in a #1 ranked team at Morgan Stanley; rating UK and continental European banks at Standard & Poor’s; and providing balance sheet advice to financial institutions with RBS.
A graduate of Christ’s College, University of Cambridge in the UK, Nick holds an
MA in English, a diploma in French, and a postgraduate certificate in Finance from Birkbeck College, University of London.
Louise joined Moody’s in November 2016 and is the lead analyst for most large Nordic banks.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Louise spent nine years at Standard & Poor’s. She initially worked as a senior credit analyst in the Sovereign and International Public Finance Group, and thereafter in the Financial Institutions Group - during the global financial crisis. The last 4 ½ years at S&P, Louise headed up the rating agency’s Banking Industry Country Risk Assessments (BICRAs), the key element of bank ratings, globally.
Prior to working at Standard & Poor’s, Louise spent ten years at the European Commission in Brussels, primarily working with macroeconomic forecasts and analysis at the Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG ECFIN), and a couple of years working with EU affairs at the Swedish Ministry of Finance and Central Bank. Louise holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Economics from Uppsala University.
Henrik Braconier is Executive Director of Banking at Finansinspektionen (FSA) since 2023. For the past nine years before, Mr Braconier has served as Finansinspektionen’s chief economist.
Prior to joining the FSA, Mr Braconier worked as a Senior Economist in the Economics Department at the OECD between 2009 and 2014. Mr Braconier has held different positions in the Swedish government, including being Director and Head of Forecasting at the Swedish Ministry of Finance between 2004 and 2009.
Prior to joining the Swedish government he held various academic positions in Stockholm, Milan and Lund.
Mr Braconier holds a PhD in Economics from Lund University, where he also conducted most of his undergraduate studies.
Simon Ainsworth, who is based in London, is an Associate Managing Director responsible for the analytical teams maintaining ratings on Nordic and Baltic banks and on a range of European insurance companies.
Simon previously served as a Group Credit Officer. In that role he carried responsibility for monitoring ratings quality as well as assisting in the development and implementation of rating methodologies and practices applied to rated financial institutions within the EMEA region.
Simon joined Moody’s in March 2014 following sixteen years at the Bank of England.
At the Bank, he worked in a variety of roles primarily in its financial markets and banking operation divisions; as well as working on a variety of financial risk and crisis related issues. This included the resolution of failed banks, as well as responsibility for the risk management framework applied to collateral accepted in the Bank’s sterling market operations.Simon graduated from the University of Durham in 1998, having studied Economics and Politics. He is based in London.
Sarah has been the lead analyst for most countries in the European Union, and is also a former lead analyst for the United States. She is currently the lead analyst for France and Italy, among other European countries. She is also one of the Sovereign Risk Group’s global spokespeople.
She joined Moody’s in 2009 after completing a Sloan Fellowship at the London Business School. Prior to this academic sabbatical, she spent seven years at the Financial Services Authority in London where she headed the regulator’s Risk Analysis area and acted as its chief macroeconomist. Before joining the FSA, she worked in Dun & Bradstreet’s Economic Analysis Group for six years, where she was the organisation’s Deputy Chief Economist.
She holds an MA in European Studies (with a concentration in Economics and Finance) from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University in Washington, DC and an AB with a double major in Government and History from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire in the United States. She is a CFA Charterholder and is co-chair of the Macroeconomic Committee of the CFA Society France. She is a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and the United States and is based in Paris.
Niclas Boheman, based in Stockholm, is Moody’s lead analyst on a number of financial institutions in the Nordics and Baltics. He also focuses on innovation and digitalisation trends in financial services in Europe.
Prior to joining Moody’s in 2016, Mr Boheman was a credit analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Svenska Handelsbanken, Stockholm. Mr Boheman holds a Degree of Master of Science (One Year) in International Economics from the School of Economics and Management, Lund University.
Nina Ahlstrand is heading up the Sustainable Finance team in DNB Markets. The team provides ESG-related advisory services to clients across sectors and geographies, including green, social and sustainability-linked bonds and loans as well as contributes to the integration of ESG into products and services across the bank.
Mr. Beyer joined SEB in 2002 as head of Fixed Income and Derivatives. 2008 he was appointed Global Head of Fixed Income. In 2015 he became Head of Institutional Banking. In March 2020 he was appointed Chief Sustainability Officer.
Prior to joining SEB, Mr. Beyer held different positions within the finance industry, co-head of sales and trading at Öhman Fondkommission, Executive Director responsible for Financial Institutions Sales for the Nordics within FICC at Goldman Sachs up until 1996, there after joining Swedbank as head of fixed Income. He remained at Swedbank for 6 years running both FX Sales, FICC research and Fixed Income ending as Deputy Head of Merchant bank before joining SEB.
Mr Beyer has twice supported the European regulatory development. First as a participant in the Consultative Working Group for ESMA during the establishment of MiFID 2 and secondly as a Rapporteur in the Expert group on Corporate Bond Markets, “Improving European Corporate Bond Markets”
Mr Beyer is a board member of the pension fund Gamla Livförsäkringsbolaget SEB Trygg liv

Alberto Postigo joined Moody’s Inverstors Service in 2002. He is currently based inMadrid with responsibilities as lead analyst for a number of Spanish banks. Beforejoining the Financial Institutions Group, Mr. Postigo worked in the structuredfinance group for six years, mostly in the analysis and rating of ABS transactions.
Before joining Moody’s, Mr. Postigo worked at Lucent Technologies as a seniorconsultant in the switching and networking group. Mr. Postigo holds a degree inTelecommunications Engineering by the Universidad de Valladolid as well as adegree in Economics and Business Administration by the Universidad Autónomade Madrid.
