Rahul Ghosh is Managing Director, ESG Outreach & Research for Moody’s Investors Service.
Rahul leads global oversight for the credit rating agency’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) research and outreach strategy. In this capacity, he is responsible for co-ordinating high quality and impactful research exploring the credit implications of ESG, as well as digital and in-person outreach to meet the growing market needs of investors, issuers and other important stakeholders.
Rahul is a regular participant at high-profile industry working groups, market briefings, external conferences and media engagements. He is a member of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures, a market-led initiative to develop a risk management and disclosure framework for nature-related risks. He has also represented Moody’s on the UN Principles for Responsible Investment's advisory committee on credit ratings and the Green and Social Bond Principles working groups. He has presented on the impact of climate change on emerging market sovereigns at the G20 Green Finance Study Group and on sustainable finance trends at the International Finance Corporation’s Global Debt Mobilization Conference.
Before his current role, Rahul oversaw Moody’s ESG Solutions Group outreach and engagement activities globally with the sustainability stakeholder community. He also previously worked in Moody’s Credit Strategy & Research team where he was responsible for thematic research and outreach on global emerging market (EM) credit trends. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2013, Rahul was the Head of Asia at BMI Research (Fitch Solutions) in Singapore, leading a team of macroeconomists and industry specialists in analysing sovereign risk, sector performance and the capital markets.
Rahul is a passionate impact leader for Moody’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in London, chairing the pillar on “activating an environmentally sustainable future”. He holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Society of the UK.

Snorre Gjerde is Lead Investment Stewardship Manager at Norges Bank Investment Management, the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund. He leads the fund's ownership activities on a number of environmental topics, including nature and biodiversity loss, and engages with companies in close collaboration with portfolio managers. He also works to advance global sustainability standards across markets where the fund invests, and represents NBIM as a Taskforce Member on the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). Previously, Snorre worked as an equity analyst in the fund's Sector Strategies department, covering global consumer companies. He has also been seconded to Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Equity Research division, where he focused on the European banking sector. Snorre holds an MBA from London Business School, a Master's degree in Financial Economics from NHH - Norwegian School of Economics, and a CEMS Master's in International Management from NHH and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Marie Diron heads the Sovereign Risk Group for Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, and Sub-Sovereign Risk Group for Asia Pacific and EMEA. She is responsible for analytical teams covering more than 70 sovereign ratings, 15 Multilateral Development Banks and around 400 sub-sovereign ratings in about 30 countries. Marie is also a project owner of Moody’s Investors Service’s ESG scores, which were launched in early 2021.
Marie has worked as Moody’s lead sovereign analyst for a number of Asia Pacific credits, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Sri Lanka and Australia. Marie has also worked in Moody’s Credit Policy, leading a number of macroeconomic analyses, including our regular Global Macro Outlook and other credit research work. Marie was previously Director at Oxford Economics, leading the company’s forecasting and scenario analysis service to financial sector and corporate clients, after a number of years at the European Central Bank and Brevan Howard LLP. Marie received a MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and graduated from the Ecole Centrale Paris.
Lucia Lopez is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in Moody’s Environmental, Social and Governance group. In her role, Lucia contributes on all aspects to systematically and transparently incorporate ESG considerations into its ratings. Lucia brings multi-disciplinary expertise in broader ESG issues through past positions as a corporate credit analyst and a banker.
Lucia frequently represents the firm as a speaker through conversations with investors, policymakers and other market participants around the world. Before moving to the ESG team, Lucia was a lead analyst in the EMEA Corporate Finance Group since 2018. Prior to Moody’s, Lucia worked for over 15 years at a number of banks including Deutsche Bank and Barclays as a senior credit officer specializing in leverage finance and natural resources.
Lucia holds a Masters in European Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Mitch joined in February 2010 as Head of Research on the Credit team before becoming Co-Head of Credit from 2012 to 2019. In 2019, in addition to his role of Head of Research, he became Head of Sustainable Fixed Income and co-manager of the Federated Hermes SDG Engagement High Yield Credit Fund. Prior to this he was Co-Head of Credit Research for the global credit team at Fortis Investments. Other roles at Fortis include portfolio manager of European high yield funds, based in London, and senior credit analyst, based in Paris. Before this he worked as an associate analyst in the leveraged finance group at Moody’s Investors Service in New York. Mitch is currently working toward a Master’s degree in Sustainable Leadership at Cambridge University. He previously earned a Master’s degree in International Affairs at Columbia University in New York City and a Bachelor’s degree in History at Pitzer College, one of the Claremont Colleges in California. He is a CFA charter holder and the founder and Co-Chair of the Federated Hermes Sustainability Investment Centre. Among his current and former advocacy roles are: founding board member of the European Leveraged Finance Association (ELFA); Co-Chair of the Credit Risk and Ratings Advisory Committee at the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI); workstream member CFO Coalition for the SDGs of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC); (former) member the Target Setting workstream at the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change; (former) member and co-chair of the Capital Markets Advisory Committee of the IFRS Foundation; (former) member of the Sovereign Working Group (PRI); (former) workstream member of the UK-China Green Finance Task Force; and (former) Green Finance Advisory of the City of London.
Yasmina Serghini is a Managing Director in Moody’s Rating's Corporate Finance Group. She manages the teams in Madrid, Milan and Paris that are responsible for investment grade and high yield companies primarily in the TMT, retail, pharmaceutical, healthcare, food, packaged goods, railways and postal services industries.
Since joining Moody’s in 2005, Yasmina has been in charge of the credit ratings of automotive and truck manufacturers, retail, consumer packaged goods companies, including beverages and business services companies. Prior to joining Moody’s, Yasmina worked for Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne as a credit risk analyst where she had responsibilities for the analysis of companies mainly in the airlines, telecoms and real estate industries as well as aircraft and shipping financings. Yasmina is a CFA charterholder.
She holds a Postgraduate Diploma (“DESS”) in Finance from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and has a university degree (majoring in Finance) from Dauphine University (Paris). She is fluent in English, French and Moroccan.
