Ana Arsov Managing Director, Global Banking Co-Head Moody’s Investors Service

Ana Arsov is a Global Managing Director, co-heading of the banking rating franchise for Moody’s Investor Service which includes rating coverage for banks, securities firms, specialty finance and market infrastructure.

Ana joined Moody’s in 2013 with an extensive experience in analyzing financial institutions and managing credit professionals. Prior to joining Moody’s, Ana’s most recent role was at UBS, where she spent the last several years as Executive Director in Credit Risk, responsible for financial institutions including North American banks, broker dealers, exchanges and clearinghouses. Prior to UBS, she was Head of Global Portfolio Management-Credit Risk Management at Morgan Stanley, focusing on comprehensive coverage, identification and analysis of risks across the firm’s trading and lending businesses as well as leading key risk management initiatives for Morgan Stanley Bank N.A.

Ana began her career in Credit Risk Management at Lehman Brothers in various credit risk roles, ultimately heading up the North American Financial Institutions and Structured Finance team, and subsequently worked on Lehman’s bankruptcy resolution.

Ana holds a master’s degree in Management (with a specialization in Financial Services and Banking) from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree in Business from Pace University, New York. Ana also holds certificate on board governance from Harvard Business School.

Anne Van Praagh Managing Director – Global Head of Sovereign and Sub-Sovereign Risk Moody’s Investors Service

Anne Van Praagh is global head of Moody’s Sovereign and Sub-Sovereign Risk Group, with responsibility for credit ratings on countries, regional and local governments, and multilateral development banks. From 2016 to mid-2021, Anne led the global Credit Strategy & Research group, the team that defines and develops Moody’s macroeconomic and “house views” on emerging risk trends and coordinated Moody’s credit response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Anne also was head of MIS Research from 2019 to early 2022, driving the MIS content and engagement strategy for 20,000 research publications published annually.From 2014 to 2016, Anne was MD for Sovereign Risk in the Americas, Middle East and APAC and prior to that Chief Credit Officer for Public Sector Ratings. Anne held several positions in the US Public Finance, infrastructure and project finance teams. She also spent three years as vice president in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking team advising on $25 billion in government, infrastructure and project financings.Anne began her career as a speechwriter at the US Department of Defense in the Clinton Administration. She has a Master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree from George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. She is married with two daughters

Jill Cetina Associate Managing Director, Financial Institutions Group Moody's Investors Service

Jill Cetina is an Associate Managing Director for U.S. banks and government sponsored enterprises in North American FIG. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2022, Jill held a senior position at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and has previously worked U.S Treasury, Federal Reserve Board, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and the Office of Financial Research.

Jill earned a BA from Grinnell College and a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University. She is a CFA charterholder and has published journal articles on a range of banking topics, including stress testing, liquidity management, capital standards, and repo markets.

Paloma San Valentin Managing Director, North America Corporate Finance Moody's Investors Service

Paloma San Valentin is Head of the Corporate Finance Group (CFG) in North America for Moody’s Investors Service (MIS), based in New York, overseeing the development of rating opinions and research on corporates in the region. Paloma previously served as Co-Head for US and Americas CFG. From 2010 to 2014, she was a Managing Director in CFG in London, where she was in charge of the analytical teams covering a diverse portfolio of mostly consumer-facing industries including telecom, media, airlines, food processors, real estate, packaged goods, or business services. Paloma joined Moody’s in the summer of 2008, bringing 15 years of international corporate credit and banking experience. Prior to joining Moody’s, Paloma was Country Credit Risk Officer for Bank of America in Spain and responsible for the bank’s Iberian corporate credit portfolio and French general industrial clients. During her career, Paloma also spent three years at Credit Suisse, in different credit risk and investment banking capacities. Ms. San Valentin holds an MBA from Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa (IESE), Barcelona, Spain, and a BA in Business and Economics from the Free University of Brussels, Belgium.
