Europe’s recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic continues. Moody’s Analytics expects 2022 to be another positive year with just under 4% GDP growth in the Eurozone forecast. Europe has largely shrugged off the negative effects of Omicron and any recent weakness in activity is likely to be balanced by stronger growth later.


Consumer price inflation is one of the key risks facing Europe this year. A number of factors including the rise in energy prices and disruptions to supply chains concerns have contributed to these price pressures.
