Rahul Ghosh is Managing Director, ESG Outreach & Research for Moody’s Investors Service.
Rahul leads global oversight for the credit rating agency’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) research and outreach strategy. In this capacity, he is responsible for co-ordinating high quality and impactful research exploring the credit implications of ESG, as well as digital and in-person outreach to meet the growing market needs of investors, issuers and other important stakeholders.
Rahul is a regular participant at high-profile industry working groups, market briefings, external conferences and media engagements. He is a member of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures, a market-led initiative to develop a risk management and disclosure framework for nature-related risks. He has also represented Moody’s on the UN Principles for Responsible Investment's advisory committee on credit ratings and the Green and Social Bond Principles working groups. He has presented on the impact of climate change on emerging market sovereigns at the G20 Green Finance Study Group and on sustainable finance trends at the International Finance Corporation’s Global Debt Mobilization Conference.
Before his current role, Rahul oversaw Moody’s ESG Solutions Group outreach and engagement activities globally with the sustainability stakeholder community. He also previously worked in Moody’s Credit Strategy & Research team where he was responsible for thematic research and outreach on global emerging market (EM) credit trends. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2013, Rahul was the Head of Asia at BMI Research (Fitch Solutions) in Singapore, leading a team of macroeconomists and industry specialists in analysing sovereign risk, sector performance and the capital markets.
Rahul is a passionate impact leader for Moody’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in London, chairing the pillar on “activating an environmentally sustainable future”. He holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Society of the UK.
Brian Cahill is Managing Director, Global Head of ESG for Moody’s Investors Service. In his role, Brian leads Moody’s strategy for the incorporation of Environmental, Social and Governance factors - including climate risk - into credit ratings, analytics, research and outreach. He has responsibility for ensuring that Moody’s is at the forefront of meeting this growing market need from investors, issuers and other important stakeholders. Brian has more than 24 years of credit experience at Moody's and has coordinated the MIS ESG initiative since 2014 building a strong platform for analytics, research and outreach in respect of ESG.
Brian has held various senior analytical and management positions with Moody’s. He joined the company in 1996, working first in Structured Finance and then Corporate Finance. He was regional head of the Asia Corporate Finance franchise from 2002 to 2020. In addition, he led the Asia project and infrastructure team from 2002 to 2018 and the Asia financial institutions team from 2009 to 2016. He was country manager for Australia from 2005 to 2009.Prior to joining Moody’s,
Brian practiced as a lawyer in London, New York and Sydney. He received an MA and Master of Law from St. John’s College, Cambridge University.

Lucia Lopez is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in Moody’s Environmental, Social and Governance group. In her role, Lucia contributes on all aspects to systematically and transparently incorporate ESG considerations into its ratings. Lucia brings multi-disciplinary expertise in broader ESG issues through past positions as a corporate credit analyst and a banker.
Lucia frequently represents the firm as a speaker through conversations with investors, policymakers and other market participants around the world. Before moving to the ESG team, Lucia was a lead analyst in the EMEA Corporate Finance Group since 2018. Prior to Moody’s, Lucia worked for over 15 years at a number of banks including Deutsche Bank and Barclays as a senior credit officer specializing in leverage finance and natural resources.
Lucia holds a Masters in European Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Based in the UK, Cathrine is Global Head of ESG for Invesco with responsibility for enabling and leading best practices in ESG capabilities across Invesco including ESG integration, research, voting and engagement, supporting the distribution team with client engagement, and advising the product teams on ESG innovation. Cathrine leads a team of ESG professionals located across EMEA, US and Asia.
Cathrine took on global responsibility for Invesco’s ESG practice in September 2019. Prior to this role, Cathrine spent two years as Head of ESG for Invesco’s Henley Investment Centre. Cathrine started her career at Columbia Threadneedle Investments in 2008 as a responsible investment analyst and has experience across the responsible investment spectrum of ESG integration to specific fund strategies. Cathrine has been a non-executive board member of the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (UKSIF) and is a member of the UK Investment Association Stewardship Committee.
Cathrine holds an MBA from London Business School, a MSc in Water Science, Policy and Management from Oxford University and a BSc in Environmental Science from Nottingham University. Cathrine also holds the Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Society of the UK.
As Technical Lead in the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ) Secretariat, Ronan leads work on net-zero transition planning and analysis of the energy transition and its implications for the financial sector. Ronan joined the GFANZ Secretariat in December 2021. He was previously Head of Risk Management & Returns in the COP26 Private Finance Hub, at the UK finance ministry HMTreasury, supporting Mark Carney in his roles as UN special envoy on Climate Action & Finance and as the UK Prime Minister’s finance advisor for COP26. Ronan is on secondment from the Bank of England and has worked in the financial sector since 2003.
Nikki is a sustainable investment professional working at the World Benchmarking Alliance as the Investor Engagement Lead. In this role she works closely with investors and investor-focused actors that are part of the WBA Alliance as well as with the broader investment industry. Previously she worked as the Director of ESG Research at Invesco, a global asset manager. In this role she worked closely with fund managers and analysts across various asset classes to integrate ESG into investment processes and to engage 1-1 and collectively with companies on sustainability topics. Nikki started her career as an ESG analyst and before Invesco, she headed the Research team at Vigeo Eiris, an ESG rating agency.
Nikki holds an MA in Human Rights from the University of Sussex, a BA in Economics and Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester and has attained the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI) certificate on the ‘Introduction to Securities and Investment’.
Kelvin Dalrymple is Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in the Credit Strategy and Research (CS&R) team based in London.
He chairs the EMEA Research Council and drives cross-sector and thought-leading research in EMEA focused and aligned to rating priorities, and on Moody’s Credit Themes. In addition, he supports the broader work of the CS&R global team, and in particular the Chief Credit Officer for EMEA.
He has significant macroeconomics and public policy experience, having previously worked in senior roles with the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank Group, the Caribbean Development Bank, the Government of Barbados, and the Central bank of Barbados.
Kelvin has economic degrees from University of the West Indies, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was a Fulbright Scholar, and is currently a Fellow with the UK Chartered Governance Institute.
He is passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and is a member of Moody’s UK Multicultural Business Resource Group and was one of its co-Chairs from 2020-2022. He is also active in the EMEA Black Impact BRG.
Gaëlle Blanchard is a senior ESG analyst covering Sovereigns within Amundi’s ESG research, Engagement and Voting team.
Before joining Amundi earlier in 2022, Gaëlle spent 16 years at Société Générale CIB as an economist and strategist, focusing notably on emerging markets and on the integration of ESG criteria into multi-asset portfolios.
Gaëlle started her career at commodity trading company Louis Dreyfus as an economist on emerging markets.
She graduated from Sciences-Po Paris (Economics & Finance) and Paris-X University (Master’s in International Economics). She is also an EFFAS certified ESG analyst since 2020.
Adriana is Vice President - Manager for EMEA Sustainable Finance with Moody’s ESG Solutions. In this capacity, she oversees a team of analysts in EMEA, who are in charge of producing Second Party Opinions (SPOs). She is based in France.
Adriana has been involved in the sustainable development sector for over 10 years. Before her current role, she was the Global Head of Sustainable Finance Research at V.E., an affiliate of Moody’s ESG Solutions. In this role she oversaw the overall operations, methodology and management of the SPO team and she was responsible for all the quality reviews of all the SPOs. Prior to that she was an Analyst and was involved in the production of 60+ green, social, sustainable and sustainability-linked Second Party Opinion (SPOs). Her sectors of expertise are energy, green buildings, water services, biodiversity and social projects.
Before joining V.E. in 2017 she worked at the Green Climate Fund and RARE a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to promoting behaviour change for the responsible management of watershed ecosystems and fisheries.
Adriana holds a MA in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po Paris, a BA in International Relations from Tec de Monterrey, Mexico and an expert certification in Climate & Renewable Energy Finance from Frankfurt School – UNEP Collaboration centre. She speaks fluent Spanish, English and French.

Since 2019, Jose Luis has been a data scientist at Moody's Analytics where he leads a team that designs and implements quantitative risk management solutions. Throughout his time at Moody's Analytics he has held leading roles in initiatives that involved developing stress testing risk models for major financial institutions worldwide. Currently, Jose Luis and his team design quantitative models for ESG assessment, Asset Liability Management (ALM) and corporate credit risk.
In 2021 Jose Luis and his team created a first-of-its kind risk assessment tool that provides financial institutions and companies with essential environmental, social and governance (ESG) and climate data for portfolio and supply chain risk management.
Before joining Moody’s, he worked at CERGE-EI, a joint workplace of the Centre for Economic Research and Graduate Education of Charles University in Prague, and at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. He has carried out research on labour and foreign exchange markets, and has presented his work at numerous academic and governmental institutions. He holds a Ph.D. and a M.A. in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.
Angela Brown joined Moody’s in October of 2019 and serves as the Head of Product for Moody’s newly formed ESG Solutions Group. Angela is a seasoned veteran of product management and strategy in the financial services industry working across a broad range of solutions including data, analytics, research and platform tools. In her new role she is responsible for bringing together capabilities from across the company to deliver a comprehensive and integrated suite of ESG and Sustainable Finance solutions.

Alessandro Roccati joined Moody’s in May 2012 as a Senior Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group, based in London. His portfolio includes large European banks. Prior to joining Moody’s, Alessandro spent fifteen years in equity research as a senior analyst covering European banks at global investment banks: Macquarie, Man Group, Credit Lyonnais and Nikko Securities. He started his career as a credit analyst covering European banks at UniCredito. Alessandro graduated in economics from Bocconi University in Milan.
Matthias Heck is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer within Moody’s European Corporate Finance Group, based in Frankfurt. He is Moody’s Lead Analyst for European Automotive Suppliers. Previously, Matthias covered a diverse portfolio of manufacturing, business services, real estate and consumer goods companies based in Europe. He also coordinated Moody’s Global Construction Industry Outlook.
Matthias has over 18 years of experience in corporate ratings and financial analysis from a credit and equity perspective.
Matthias joined Moody’s in 2013, as a Senior Analyst of the Infrastructure Finance Team in London. Prior to this, Matthias worked for Macquarie, Sal. Oppenheim and Banco Santander as an equity research analyst focussing on European utilities. In addition to producing idea-driven sector and company research reports and communicating his analysis to institutional investors, Matthias also accompanied several equity capital market transactions.
Matthias is a CFA charterholder and holds the CEFA qualification from the German Association of Financial Analysis and Asset Management (DVFA). Matthias has a degree in Business Administration from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), Mannheim, Germany.
Gustavo is a Senior Director at the Moody’s Analytics Edinburgh office who manages of a global team of quantitative analysts and data scientists. He is responsible for the development of Moody’s Integrated Risk Assessment analytics covering a variety of risks such as Credit, Market, Climate & ESG, Cyber, KYC/S, etc. Gustavo has a wide industry experience across Tier 1 financial (Credit Suisse and Barclays) and consultancy (KPMG) firms. More recently Gustavo served as the Global Head of Economic Capital Analytics at HSBC with responsibility over all the methodologies used to assess EC across Credit, Counterparty Credit and Market risk portfolios. Gustavo holds a Ph.D. from Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands and a Licentiate degree in Theoretical Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in Spain.
Shree is Vice President of model development for RMS and head of physical risk modelling under climate change. Shree currently leads a new initiative to integrate RMS risk models into the Moody’s wider context. He began his career in risk modelling in 2006 with RMS, but also spent 3 years working for Hiscox as the group head of catastrophe research, responsible for the view of risk applied across the business. Shree has an academic background in physics (BsC University of British Columbia), financial mathematics (MSc, University of York), and atmospheric modelling (Phd, Princeton University). Shree has made original contributions to various academic fields including geophysical data assimilation, risk modelling and reinsurance pricing.

Teresa is an Associate Lead Analyst based in London and part of the EMEA SPO production team, with substantial experience in sovereign bonds, green building loans and corporate sustainability-linked instruments. With 15+ years in the financial industry, Teresa has worked for the Brazilian Development Bank, mainly involved in structuring project finance of renewable energy and public transportation infrastructure projects, as financial manager and legal counsel. Prior to that, she had a vast experience at law firms in legal and environmental due diligence processes and tax litigation.
Teresa holds a Master of Laws from Cornell University/NY and a Finance MBA from COPPEAD and Stellenbosch University. Portuguese native speaker and fluent in English.
Sandra is an Associate Lead Analyst in the EMEA Second Party Opinion (SPO) team based in London, where she works in the production of green, social, sustainable and sustainability linked SPOs. With a background in structured finance, credit analysis and sustainable finance.
Sandra graduated in Economics from the University of Zaragoza and completed an MBA from the University of Manchester. She speaks fluent Spanish and English.
