Atsi Sheth is Managing Director and Global Head, Credit Strategy and Research.

Moody’s Credit Strategy & Research group includes global teams focused on Macroeconomic Research, Default & Ratings Analytics and Global Emerging Markets as well as regional credit strategy teams each focused on Asia-Pacific, the Americas, and EMEA.

Together these teams establish and articulate Moody’s house views on the trends that drive risk across countries, sectors and asset classes. They undertake in depth data driven analysis and leverage the expertise of ratings and research analysts across Moody’s to generate global, regional and sector insights on macro-economic, political, policy, technology and environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks.

In her capacity leading the group, Atsi also serves as a spokesperson on Moody’s analytic views, engaging with investors, the media and a wide range of public and private sector stakeholders.

Atsi is a long-time champion of Moody’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) as well as our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. She serves as co-chair of the CSR Thought Leadership & Solutions working group and the Senior Advisor to Moody’s Asian Leadership Initiative - a Multicultural Business Resource Group.

Prior to her current role, Atsi was Moody’s Chief Credit Officer for the Americas and before that Managing Director in Moody’s Sovereign Risk Group. She has also served as Chief Economist at Reliance Capital and taught courses on International Political Economy and Emerging Markets at Columbia University and Northwestern University. Atsi has a PhD from Northwestern University and a B.A. from Bombay University.

Laurie Goodman Founder - Housing Finance Policy Urban Institute

Laurie Goodman is an Institute fellow and the founder of the Housing Finance Policy Center at the Urban Institute. The center provides policymakers with data-driven analyses of housing finance policy issues that they can depend on for relevance, accuracy, and independence. Before joining Urban, Goodman spent 30 years as an analyst and research department manager at several Wall Street firms. From 2008 to 2013, she was a senior managing director at Amherst Securities Group, LP, a boutique broker/dealer specializing in securitized products, where her strategy effort became known for its analysis of housing policy issues. From 1993 to 2008, Goodman was head of global fixed income research and manager of US securitized products research at UBS and predecessor firms, which were ranked first by Institutional Investor for 11 straight years. Before that, she held research and portfolio management positions at several Wall Street firms. She began her career as a senior economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Goodman was inducted into the Fixed Income Analysts Hall of Fame in 2009. Goodman serves on the board of directors of MFA Financial, Arch Capital Group Ltd., and Home Point Capital Inc., and is a consultant to the Amherst Group. She is also on the CFPB Consumer Advisory Board. Goodman has published more than 200 journal articles and has coauthored and coedited five books. She has a BA in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and an AM and Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University.

Darrell Wheeler Vice President - Senior Credit Officer, Head of CMBS Research, Commercial Real Estate Finance Moody's Investors Service

Darrell Wheeler manages CMBS and CRE CLO research for Moody’s Investor Services. He is renowned for developing mortgage-backed securities analysis and models that provide unique fundamental credit insights.

His structured finance experience is extensive, previously managing the structured finance research of S&P Global Ratings, Citigroup Global Markets and Cantor Fitzgerald. He is a past member of CREFC’s Board of Governors and currently participates in CREFC’s editorial board. He has contributed research to numerous publications, including CREFC’s E-primer.

Luisa De Gaetano Associate Managing Director, North America Real Estate, Corporate Finance Moody's Investors Service

Luisa De Gaetano heads the US RMBS New Ratings team in the Structured Finance Group at Moody’s Investors Service. The RMBS team assigns new ratings to transactions in several sectors including prime jumbo, credit-risk transfer, reperforming, single-family rental, and reverse mortgages. In addition, Luisa heads the team that publishes assessments on ability and stability of originators and servicers.

Luisa is also an editor of the monthly newsletter ResiLandscape, which focuses on credit risk in the RMBS market. Luisa joined Moody’s in 2005, and previously managed new ratings and surveillance teams across all ABS sectors - credit cards, student loans, autos, equipment, and esoterics. Luisa has also chaired CLO committees.

Prior to Moody’s, Luisa worked in corporate strategy at McDonald's Corp, and in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Luisa holds an undergraduate degree in economics from LUISS University in Rome and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Cris deRitis Deputy Chief Economist Moody's Analytics

Cristian deRitis is a senior director at Moody’s Analytics, where he conducts economic analysis and develops econometric models for a wide variety of clients. His regular analysis and commentary on consumer credit, policy and the broader economy appear on the firm’s Economy.com web site and in other publications. He is regularly quoted in publications such as the Wall Street Journal for his views on the economy and consumer credit markets. Currently he is spearheading efforts to develop alternative sources of data to measure economic activity more accurately than traditional sources of data. Before joining Moody’s Analytics, Cristian worked for Fannie Mae and taught at Johns Hopkins University. He received his PhD in economics from Johns Hopkins University and is named on two U.S. patents for credit modeling techniques.

Jeffrey Havsy CRE Industry Practice Lead Moody's Analytics

Prior to joining Moody’s Analytics as a Commercial Real Estate Industry Practice Lead, Jeffrey was CBRE’s Americas Chief Economist and was responsible for guiding the CBRE Econometric Advisors (CBRE EA) team. Before joining CBRE, Jeff served as the Director of Research at National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries. Jeff also worked as a Global Strategist with Property & Portfolio Analytics. Jeff previously served as a board member of the Real Estate Research Institute (RERI). He has co-authored several research papers, including “The Case of Real Estate,” “Derivatives Markets: How Far Does Real Estate Have to Go,” and “The Use of Leverage by Institutional Investors: Pros, Cons and Implementation Considerations.” He is also a Homer Hoyt Fellow and he became a Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) in April 2016.

Rachael McDonald Associate Managing Director - Public Finance Housing Moody's Ratings

Rachael Royal McDonald is an Associate Managing Director leading the Housing Finance, State Revolving Funds and Municipal Supported Products Teams. Prior to this role, Rachael spent 16 years as a lead analyst covering the State Housing Finance Agency, State Revolving Fund and Military Housing sectors. Prior to joining Moody’s, Rachael worked for Deloitte Consulting and The Advisory Board Company. Rachael holds an MBA and a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and a BA from Brown University.

Edmond DeForest Senior Vice President, Business & Consumer Services, Corporate Finance Moody's Ratings

Ed DeForest is a Senior Vice President on the Technology and Services team. Ed covers a portfolio of services and software companies in a range of verticals.

Ed joined Moody’s in February, 2012 from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he shared responsibility for leading a team of examiners reviewing the wholesale loan portfolios of the 10 largest New York-based banks. Prior to his work at the Fed, Ed was a managing director with D.B. Zwirn, where he was the global head of asset management. While there, Ed managed the credit and illiquid risk department, with a portfolio of about $5 billion of assets under management. Ed also worked for 19 years at JPMorgan Chase, in both the credit and lending and the investment banking departments, covering a range of companies in the Technology, Telecommunications, Cable TV, Publishing and Broadcasting sectors. Ed has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. is from Carnegie Mellon University

Natalia Gluschuk Vice President-Senior Credit Officer, Homebuilding, Corporate Finance Moody's Investors Service

Natalia Gluschuk is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer at Moody’s Corporate

Finance Group in the US Homebuilding team. Natalia brings extensive analytical

expertise on the Homebuilding and Building Products sectors to this role and holds

lead analyst responsibilities for a portfolio of investment-grade and speculative-grade

issuers.

Since 2018, Natalia has been part of Moody’s US Cross-Sector Housing and Housing

Finance Group that focuses on the development of cross line of business research and

outreach. For more than 10 years, Natalia had been part of Moody’s North America

Refunding Team, conducting refunding risk studies for the corporate sectors in the US

and Canada. Since joining Moody’s in 2006, Natalia has held coverage responsibilities

for a variety of corporate sectors including Homebuilding, Manufacturing, Building

Materials, Consumer Durables, Business and Consumer Services, Wholesale

Distribution, Metals and Mining.

Natalia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Drexel University

with concentrations in Finance and Economics.
