Gretchen French Associate Managing Director, Corporate Finance

Gretchen French is an Associate Managing Director in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group, with responsibility for the Homebuilding, Building Materials and Packaging Team.

Prior to her current role, Gretchen was an Associate Managing Director in Ratings & Research Support (RRS), where she led a team of Associate Analyst Team Managers responsible for managing support analysts in the Corporate Finance, Project and Infrastructure Finance, and Sub-Sovereign Groups in the Americas.

Before joining the RRS team, Gretchen was a Vice President - Senior Credit Officer in the Oil and Gas team in the Corporate Finance Group. In this role, she was a lead analyst on a portfolio of investment grade and high yield exploration and production, refining and marketing, midstream, drilling and oilfield services companies in the US, Latin America and Canada.

Gretchen is an active member of the Women’s Business Resource Group (WBRG) at Moody’s and previously served in role of Co-Chair of the New York WBRG.

Gretchen holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College

Vitali Morgovski, CFA Assistant Vice President - Analyst, Corporate Finance Group Moody's Investors Service

Vitali Morgovski is an Assistant Vice President – Analyst within Moody’s EMEA Corporate Finance Group based in Frankfurt. He has lead analyst responsibility for a diverse portfolio of companies from the business and consumer services sector, manufacturing, aerospace and defense as well as auto suppliers.

Vitali joined Moody’s as an Assistant Vice President – Analyst in December 2017. Prior to this, Vitali worked for SEB and Commerzbank as a credit research analyst covering corporates across various industries.

Vitali is a CFA charterholder and holds a master degree in business administration from the Justus-Liebig University Giessen, Germany.

Emile El Nems Vice President - Senior Credit Officer, Corporate Finance Moody's Investors Service

Emile El Nems is a Vice President - Senior Credit Officer on the Homebuilding, Building Materials and Packaging Team covering a portfolio of investment grade and high yield issuers in a number of verticals, including building materials, building products, manufacturing and packaging goods. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2019 as a VP-Lead Analyst, Emile was a portfolio manager at a top US hedge fund for five years and a managing director responsible for a Technology, Telecommunications & Media portfolio at a large European hedge fund for seven years. Before his asset management experience, Emile was a principal in the Investment Banking Group at Thomas Weisel Partners and a team leader in the Investment Banking Group at Bank of America Securities covering global wireline and wireless telecommunications, cable, and media companies. Emile received his MBA in finance from Columbia University and BS in Chemical Engineering from Stevens.

Roy Zhang Vice President - Senior Analyst, Corporate Finance Moody's Investors Service

Roy Zhang is a Vice President–Senior Analyst in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Hong Kong, Roy covers a portfolio of industrial companies across China. Prior to joining Moody’s, Roy worked as an executive for the mining company, Consolidated Minerals. Roy has also worked as a Credit Analyst for Fitch Ratings and an Equity Analyst for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, focusing on a wide range of sectors including material, industrial, metals & mining and automobile. Roy holds an MBA from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering with honors from the National University of Singapore.
