telecommunications sectors. Throughout her career at Moody’s, she has covered a wide range of sectors including power and gas utilities, rails, oil and gas, retail, apparel, beverage, tobacco, packaged goods, durables and manufacturing, among others, both in the

U.S. and Japan. She has extensive experience both in the investment grade and high yield spaces. Mariko transferred to the Tokyo office in 2013 after working in the New York office for seven years. Mariko held several credit positions prior to joining Moody’s. She holds a B.A. from the College of William and Mary.

Ryohei Nishio AVP – Analyst, Corporate Finance Moody's Investors Service

Ryohei Nishio is an Assistant Vice President - Analyst with Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Tokyo, he covers a portfolio of Japanese corporates in various sectors, including automotive supply, manufacturing and real estate.

Before joining Moody’s, Ryohei worked for J.P. Morgan in Tokyo as a Credit Officer, covering a wide range of large Japanese corporate clients. Prior to that, he started his career at Rating and Investment Information, Inc. as a Rating Analyst.

Ryohei holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Management from Hitotsubashi University. He is a CFA charterholder, and a member of the CFA Society Japan.

Jonathan Reid Analyst, Corporate Finance Group Moody's Investors Service

Jonathan is an Analyst at Moody’s Investors Service based in Toronto, covering a diverse portfolio of Canadian companies across different industrial sectors. He joined the Corporate Finance Group in April 2018 from Moody’s Sub Sovereign Group, where he was primarily focused on the Canadian University sector and regional and local governments.

Prior to joining Moody’s in 2014 Jonathan worked for the Canadian Government, holding various responsibilities ranging from negotiating and auditing grant funding to analysis of regional and provincial labour markets.

Jonathan has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University’s Lazaridis School of Business & Economics
