Dody Budi Waluyo Deputy Governor Bank Indonesia

Dody Budi Waluyo serves as the Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia on April 18th 2018 under the decision of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 69/P 2018 at April 13th 2018, for a five-year term from 2018-2023. Previously, Dody Budi Waluyo served as the Assistant Governor and Head of Economic & Monetary Policy Department from 2016 until March 2018. As of 2019, he also serves as Deputy Commissioner of Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) for Ex-Officio Bank Indonesia. Along his career, Dody Budi Waluyo holding several important positions within the Central Bank of the Republic of Indonesia, namely Head of Strategic Management & Governance Department (2014-2016), and Head of Economic & Monetary Policy Department (2013-2014). Dody Budi Waluyo was also once assigned as a member of the Working Groups of G20, BIS, IMF, and World Bank, in Monetary and Finance Section, and also a member of the FDI Statistics Working Group in ASEAN (2003-2006), and Advisor to the Executive Director for South East Asia Voting Group Office, International Monetary Fund, Washington D.C., USA (2000-2003).

Dody Budi Waluyo received his undergraduate education in Economic Science & Development Study of University of Indonesia (UI). Afterward, Dody continued his education in University of Colorado, USA, and obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

Dr. Luky Alfirman Director General of Budget Financing and Risk Management Ministry of Finance of Republic of Indonesia

Luky Alfirman is Director General of Budget Financing and Risk Management (BFRM), Ministry of Finance, Indonesia. He is responsible primarily for managing public debt, including government securities and loan, and government risks as well as fiscal support for Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects.

Luky Alfirman has been working for the MoF for more than 20 years. Before appointed as Director General in 2017, he was Assistant Minister for State Revenue Policy, focusing in the areas of both tax revenue and non-tax revenue policies. He was the Director of Center for Policy Analysis and Harmonization, also known as Finance Minister’s Chief of Staff for almost 2 years. He also worked for Fiscal Policy Agency as Director (2011-2015), and Directorate General of Taxes for more than 10 years. He was also a lecturer in the University of Indonesia, teaching public finance courses for graduate school of economics.

Luky Alfirman holds a PhD in economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA, focusing  on public finance, and a bachelor degree in industrial engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Indonesia.
